Planning tool – the ‘circle’ model

CIRCLE  MODEL OF PRE-PLANNING

Here as promised is the planning model shared at IFTE and drama NZ conferences in 2011. This is a work in progress – but may be of some interest.

The model gives suggestions for preplanning steps to be taken by a teacher planning in Mantle of the Expert.The model is presented using a ‘Prezi’. Click on the arrow in the bottom Right corner to move through the model.

Each step in the Planning process is given in BLACK CAPITALS. In blue is the question a teacher might ask themselves as they brainstorm possibilities. In Black are some possible answers to the question (In this case, the planning relates to producing a MOTE response to Shakespeare’s play Othello.)
